POEM

My Childhood

How lucky we were when we were tiny boys.
No studies, no work, only playing with toys.
I remember my first day in school,
Got to know how to use the writing tool.
I remember the day
when I first went to play,
Building small castles using only clay.
I remember the day when I first wore my school dress
It was joy without any stress.
I remember when I first got hurt,
But at once got up to save my shirt from dirt.
Those days were truly smooth and fine.
Whereas now as a student all my efforts
Are being geared up to make my future shine.
