The Friend of Flowers

Winter went back to sleep
Spring awoke with great joy
Little flowers bloomed all over the land
Little birds sang happily
But the flowers were sad
She hasn’t come yet
The one with silky wings
And a smiling face
Where is she ?
Why hasn’t she come yet?
They had no answer
Days passed, Months passed
Today’s the last day of spring
She never came
Poor flowers were left hopeless
Then she came
The friend of flowers
They were as happy as ever
Do you know who that is ?
Of course, it’s a butterfly !
