I am the footprints

Dark and light

I come with you

Day or night

If the foot is coloured

I become dark

And, if it is not

I am light

I am the proof

For any evidence

Otherwise I am

Living aloof

Just ask, WHY?

Because I am the footprints

Dark and light.

Lovely meaning. I also liked the sense of rhythm and meter. Rhythm is very important for a poem without rhyming words, loved it! Keep it up!
