TALES FROM READERS

Bhola Bear Gets Honey

Bhola Bear lived in a forest .All the animals of forest lived happily together. Bhola liked honey very much and he was expert in climbing all the trees in forest in search of honey. He would also pluck few fruits high up in the tree and give it to little animals who possibly couldn't reach that height. The little animals would exult with joy and run back to their homes with the fruits.
Bhola Bear would be immensely pleased at the kids' s happiness and continue for his search of honey. One day Bhola Bear and Jumpy Monkey were having a talk when they saw Rocky Rabbit coming towards them. He looked tensed and was panting badly. Seeing his state both Bhola and Jumpy exclaimed, "My goodness why are you so tensed, Rocky."
Rocky said, "Friends, the kids of Sweety parrot is in danger."
Jumpy asked, "But why and how?"
Rocky explained, "The branch of the tree in which Sweety made nest have broken and one more gust of wind would probably bring the nest and the little ones inside it down".
Rocky further said ,"Sweety has flown out for food so I have come to call you for help."
"Surely, we are coming. "said both Bhola and Jumpy.
The trio sprinted to the given tree. Many animals had gathered near the tree. The branch of the tree along with the nest was dangling in the air.
Jumpy quickly climbed the tree and slowly pushed the dangling branch of the tree .As the nest hurled down It was grabbed by Bhola in his bulky hands.
Just then Sweety Parrot came and was surprised at the commotion near her tree. Soon she came to know about the whole incident .She was grateful to both Jumpy and Bhola.
She quickly shifted her nest to another tree.
All the animal friends cheered for Bhola.Rehu giraffe showed Bhola a tree which had a huge beehive. Bhola growled loudly and ran towards that tree.
All the animals laughed loudly on seeing Bhola's greed for honey.
Rocky said aloud,"He certainly deserves it".
And surely all animals agreed.
