Do you like that so many Indians immigrate to the US every year?
I am a US immigrant myself and am curious about what you think!

Well even I am an immigrant. And I don't see that anything is wrong in immigrating to various places.

No, I don't like that so many Indians are immigrating to USA every year. There is a lot that can be done in our country India.

Well according to me, immigration is a good way of helping our country. Learned people should immigrate, earn money, come back to India after retirement and teach backward people what they have learnt.

I am not a us immigrant; but I have come to U.S for my studies but I don't like this brain drain at all. I agree its a good place to live in but still how can we cheat our country which was once called the golden bird because of its resources but now all the resources including us are leaving it to die. I can understand there is a lot of generation gap, corruption and a lot of irrelevant practices in the land of lord vishnu and shiva. But because of this we can't leave our country to die instead we have to stop all brain drain in us if we are not going to stop and change and let this brain drain to happen then the golden bird is going to to be caged again by corruption and other evils and I don't think a US citizen is going to come and open the cage of golden bird so please understand we have to change and save it and people have to just stop thinking about themselves about there family but treat every human being as their brothers and as Bindu and palak have mentioned above THINGS DONT CHANGE BY THEMSELVES WE ALL HAVE TO PUT AN EFFORT AND CHANGE THEM.

The issue I have with Indian immigration is the phoney degrees, driving licences and cultural differences. Indians bring many of their baggage in terms of class systems, their relentless pursuit of the dollar, and I suspect that they would pull up the drawbridge to other Indian immigrants, except their own family if they could. I think we would be much better off if we continued to bring in immigrants from Europe.
