| Should Indian Police officers Salaries be hiked? |
| India has faced a lot after the terror attacks in mumbai, and I feel it is high time we stop blaming each other and think about those who lost their lives in this sad incident! Please give your opinion

ITS A VERY HONORABLE TOPIC, YES SALARIES SHOULD BE INCREASED FOR THE INDIAN POLICE OFFICER AS, THEY GIVE US SECURITY, ASSURANCE OF OUR LIFE. CRIME NEVER PAYS.

This is a very important point in terms of Indian society. It is absolutely right that salaries should be increased for the Indian Police Officers because they are patriots, they serve the country at the cost of their life moreover their presence make us safe, secure and comfortable. Salary is also a motivational level and everyone wants to earn money. If govt. will pay incentives or hike salary it can be an extensive step to stop corruption because when salary will be hiked police officers will do their service effectively.

I completely agree with this. It is ridiculous to see that they earn pidley amount of salaries and obviously can't manage their expenses within that amount and are forced to resort to other means. But at the same time, there should be increase in standard of their services. Their services are terrible. People are afraid to go to them. Criminals are free and don't fear doing anything wrong.

Let the men do their jobs first. For eminent officers their should be a salary hike.

They are getting good salaries comparing with their qualifications. I do not think that their salaries should be increased.
