| Should teachers give homework? |

Yes I agree with you. Nowadays they are alloting assignments even during the holidays and I hate that very much. But I think there is a reason behind giving homework. Homework is given so that we can remember and retain whatever we have learnt. Constant drilling and repetition makes us perfect. But teachers have started to give too much of homework. Anything in excess is bad. So homework should be given with the motto of giving students a practice and not to overwork them.

What's the use of just homework without allowing children to get an insight into the subject? It just makes them book worms and nothing else. Homeworks such as writing some thing 5 times, repeating the same as what is written in the class at home, etc will just make them memorize things but not to put it into application. I regret to say that teachers find it easy to bundle the children with homework rather than making them get interested to grasp and analyze what they learn. The same trend continues even in colleges. I find that most of the so called high scorers are unable to answer simple things in an interview.

It is ok to give homework. but it should be given less. We are spending most of our time in school and atleast we must be free in our home. If you give homework we will be very tired and we wouldn't be able to concentrate on extra curricular activities, which in turn may affect our physical and mental health. Hence we say please give less homework for us.

Oh giving HW to teachers!!!!! AS a teacher even i cant imagine of tht coz.... if it is given By a student hehe....There will b some punishments if we wont do our work na.... tht tooo by the student.... I cant imagine some thing like getting back some punishments like caning and all. Over all it should be made clear that what measures will be taken in case of not doing our work.

Homework is boring and I think every student in this whole world, sorry! whole universe does not like homework.

I think teachers should just give little bit of homework because kids have to play and do other things.
