National Language
Don't you think that we should think about our own language i.e. Hindi and learn it first.

Devwrat Dube 13-Oct-2006	I do not only think on the matter but also am alert about it.I am a poet & know what language means & even literature. You may ask me help that would develop my ability too.
Chitra k 14-Oct-2006	Mother tongue helps a child to learn things faster. But teaching in the same language does not help in a long run when we the observe the competion in the present day world because of the prominent place taken by English. There is a necessity to adapt ourselves to the situation to exist in the race. Obivously I personally believe that our own language should be brought up at the same time along with any other languages. People should accept other languages without neglecting their own.

Menaka Kamath K 21-Oct-2006	I thank you for finally bringing light to this topic. Yes I completely agree on what you say. Nowadays people have started learning French, Chinese , Japanese and what not but they are still toddlers in speaking Hindi. Many people in the South ignore the language, Hindi most of the times even though it is an extremely important language which all Indians have to be proud of and all ought to learn to speak it fluently. So let us all learn our language properly and spread the essence of this beautiful language all over the world.
raj kumar 16-Aug-2007	Hindi is 'A' national language (along with 22 other languages mentioned under the 8th schedule of the Indian constitution), as opposed to the common perception that Hindi is 'THE' national language.
