A plateful of chicken is a great pre-game meal because it has loads of energy.
The ideal pre-game meal should consist of CARBOHYDRATES (pasta, potatoes, bread, bananas etc.) and not chicken or meat. Carbohydrates are the best and most easily utilised form of energy. More important, it isn't what you eat before the game that gives you energy. The energy that you get for today's game is from what you ate yesterday!
